One Killed, Four Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Airline Drive near Aldine Mail Route Road in Aldine
Aldine, TX. (August 23, 2023)- One person was killed, and four others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on August 19, 2023, in Aldine, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 12:00 p.m. on Airline Drive near Aldine Mail Route Road. Deputies reported that the driver of a northbound Chevrolet Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed when they crashed into a Dodge Ram occupied by the victims. The driver of the Chevrolet fled the scene on foot. The driver of the Dodge was transported to an area hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Three children and an adult passenger in the Dodge were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. No further details have been provided at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
