Wrong-way crash on the DNT near Wycliff in downtown Dallas kills 2

DALLAS, TX – A 27-year-old man from Richardson and a 55-year-old man from Houston both died on Saturday after their vehicles collided head-on along the tollway.

According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened at 4:35 a.m. on the Dallas North Tollway near Wycliff Avenue, which is just east of Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

The investigation indicates that the northbound driver from Richardson entered the southbound lanes of the tollway and crashed into a pick-up truck.

Both drivers died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released their names to the public.

The investigation is ongoing.
