Two Killed, Four Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Hero Way at 183A Toll Road Frontage Road in Leander
Leander, TX. (August 29, 2023)- Two people were killed, and four others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on August 26, 2023, in Leander, Texas. The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the Hero Way and 183A Toll Road Frontage Road intersection. Police reported that a silver SUV and a tan SUV were involved in a collision. The driver of the tan SUV fled the scene on foot. The driver and front seat passenger in the silver SUV were pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the silver SUV were transported to St. David’s Round Rock with unknown injuries. Two more passengers were taken to Dell Children’s Hospital for treatment.
