Vehicle vs. pedestrian crash kills man on PBGT near Independence Pkwy

PLANO, TX – Police are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash that killed a man Sunday morning along the PGBT in Plano, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened at 4:33 a.m. near the intersection with Independence Parkway, which is just north of The Golf Ranch and The University of Texas at Dallas.

The investigation thus far indicates that the pedestrian may have intentionally walked in front of oncoming traffic on the PGBT. Police determined that several vehicles likely struck him in the roadway, causing him to die.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.

The investigation is ongoing.
