Sedan flees scene after striking, killing Tyler pedestrian at MLK and Gentry
TYLER, TX – Police are looking for the driver of a dark-colored sedan that they believe struck and killed a pedestrian in Tyler last Saturday night.
According to KETK, the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and East Gentry Parkway, which is just northeast of Douglas Elementary School.
Police say a 37-year-old male pedestrian, identified as William Eric Haisler, died at the hospital from injuries sustained when the vehicle hit him.
The investigation is ongoing.
