Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on US-271 at TX-323 in Tyler

TYLER, TX – Medics transported one person to the hospital on Sunday after a motorcycle and a car collided at a busy intersection in Tyler, reports CBS 19.

The incident happened in the morning at the intersection of US-271 and TX-323, which is just north of United 271 Sports Complex and south of Camp Ford Historical Park.

It’s still unclear what might have caused the accident. Photos taken at the scene show the motorcycle on the ground next to a black or navy sedan with damage to the left side.

The motorcyclist went to the hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries have been mentioned in connection to the crash, but the incident is still under investigation.
