Air ambulance called to semi-truck crash on I-35W SB near FM 66

ITASCA, TX – Officials dispatched an air ambulance to a crash involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle along the interstate in Itasca Monday, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 4:34 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35W near FM 66, or east Main Street, which is on the northeast side of town.

Police have not shared any details about the accident except to say that a semi and a vehicle were involved.

Officials closed the southbound lanes while the Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter landed and crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
