Cargo trailer strikes, seriously injures pedestrian on Shelby in Everman
EVERMAN, TX – CareFlite transported a female pedestrian to the hospital on Sunday after a cargo trailer attached to a pickup truck struck her on a busy roadway in Everman.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened around 4 p.m. on Shelby Road between Smith Avenue and Thomas Place, which is east of Johnson Park.
The investigation thus far indicates that the cargo trailer on a pickup truck hit the woman as she walked along Shelby Road. She sustained very serious injuries, for which she is receiving treatment at a trauma hospital in Fort Worth.
It’s unclear at this time if the driver will face any charges. The investigation is ongoing.
