Fatal crash involving semi on I-45NB near US-287 blocks traffic
ENNIS, TX – At least one person died Thursday morning after a major crash involving an 18-wheeler along the interstate in Ennis, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 7:45 a.m. on the northbound side of I-45 near the exit for US-287, which is just north of Love’s Travel Stop and just southeast of Ennis High School.
Police have not shared any details about the circumstances of the collision except to say that at least one semi-truck was involved.
Officials closed the northbound side of I-45 in the area of the crash while crews investigated and cleared what they described to be “major damage.”
