Vehicle vs. motorcycle crash N Plano at E Lookout kills 1 in Richardson
RICHARDSON, TX – A 53-year-old motorcyclist died on Thursday morning after a vehicle struck him at a busy intersection in northeast Richardson.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened at the intersection of East Lookout Drive and North Plano Road, which is south of Foxboro Park and east of US-75 and the Galatyn Woodland Preserve.
The investigation indicates that a northbound car struck the southbound motorcycle as the former vehicle attempted a left turn from Plano Road onto Lookout Drive.
The motorcyclist died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Police say that the motorcyclist had the right of way at the time of the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
