18-wheeler crash on I-20 EB at FM 1641 near Talty blocks traffic

KAUFMAN CO., TX – A collision involving a passenger vehicle and a semi along the interstate in northwest Kaufman County blocked traffic late Tuesday morning.

According to KRLD Traffic, the incident happened sometime before 11:13 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-20 at FM 1641, which is northwest of Talty and east of Heartland.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Video footage taken at the scene indicates that a white sedan may have rear-ended a semi-truck.
