Driver killed in collision with pickup truck in Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – A teen driver was arrested following a fatal head-on crash in central Arlington on Wednesday night.

According to WFLA, a pickup truck crossed the center line of West Sanford Street and slammed head-on into a passenger vehicle.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, whose identity is not available at this time, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

The pickup’s driver was also injured, but did not require hospitalization. He was arrested for possession of marijuana; however, officers do not believe he was impaired when the crash occurred.
