Accident on I-30 WB near Collins delays traffic in northeast Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – A collision along the interstate in northeast Arlington near Six Flags slowed traffic on Friday morning as crews worked at the scene, reports DFW Scanner. 

The accident occurred around 9:33 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 near Collins Street, which is just north of AT&T Stadium and just northwest of Richard Greene Linear Park.

Police haven’t yet released any details about the accident except to say that the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to the scene. There’s no word yet on injuries.

Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area and expect delays.
