Police share updates on fatal Haslet crash at FM 1156 and Avondale Haslet Rd
HASLET, TX – Police have provided additional details regarding an entrapment crash that happened on Sunday afternoon on FM 156 in Haslet.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. just south of Avondale Haslet Road on FM 156, or Blue Mound Road, which is west of School House Road and east of John Day Road.
Police say that the collision involved two-vehicles colliding head-on at a bend in the road. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Medics transported an 82-year-old man to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. He died a short time later. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The investigation is ongoing.
