Pedestrian struck, killed in hit-and-run on Rendon Rd near FM 1187

RENDON, TX – Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a man in Rendon on Saturday before fleeing the scene, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened before 5 p.m. in the area of 5400 Rendon Rd, which is near the intersection with Rendon Bloodworth Road, or FM 1187.

Authorities say they found a male pedestrian already deceased in the roadway when they arrived at the scene. They’ve not yet publicly identified the victim, nor have they shared any details regarding a suspected driver.

An investigation is underway. Officials ask anyone who may have information or tips regarding the incident to contact the Tarrant County Sherriff’s Office.
