Accident on I-635 NB past US-80 in Mesquite blocks traffic

MESQUITE, TX – Emergency crews responded to a major accident on the northbound side of the interstate in Mesquite during rush hour on Wednesday, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened around 7:33 a.m. on I-635 northbound past US-80, which is just south of The Marketplace at Towne Centre.

The circumstances of the collision are still under review. Video footage indicates that the wreck may have involved a white sedan and a semi. An ambulance reported to the scene along with police and a fire truck.

It’s not yet clear if anyone sustained injuries in the crash.
