Two-vehicle crash on Hwy 67 near Cleburne kills 6, injures 3
JOHNSON CO., TX – Six people died, and three people sustained serious injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in southwest Johnson County.
According to DFW Scanner, the accident occurred around 4 p.m. on Highway 67 between Cleburne and Nemo.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Police say that two vehicles collided, killing six people at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.
Medics airlifted three additional people to hospitals in Fort Worth with critical injuries.
Officials closed Highway 67 in the area of the collision while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
