Single-vehicle crash on Old Jacksonville Hwy in Tyler kills 1
TYLER, TX – A solo crash along the Old Jacksonville Highway in Smith County killed one person mid-afternoon on Tuesday, reports CBS 19.
The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection with Fair Lane, which is just northeast of Grace Community School.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the circumstances of the crash, nor have they released the name of the victim.
Motorists likely experienced significant delays along the highway on Tuesday afternoon while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
