Wrong-way collision involving 2 pickups on Hwy 377 near Cresson kills 2, injures child

FORT WORTH, TX – Two men died, and a 10-year-old sustained serious injuries Sunday in a wrong-way collision along the highway between Cresson and Benbrook.

According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 377 near Ranch Road, which is northeast of Bourland Field Airport.

The investigation indicates that the driver of a northbound pickup truck entered the southbound side of Highway 377 and collided head-on with a southbound pickup truck.

The collision killed both drivers. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims except to clarify that they were 39 and 33.

Medics transported a 10-year-old passenger from the southbound pickup truck to a hospital in Fort Worth.

Police continue to investigated the crash.
