Air ambulance dispatched to 2-vehicle crash on Hwy 377 near Kelly Rd

PARKER CO., TX – Crews responded Wednesday night to a fiery, two-vehicle collision along the highway between Benbrook and Cresson in southeast Parker County, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 7:37 p.m. on the southbound side of Highway 377 near Kelly Road, which is just northeast of Bourland Field Airport.

It’s not yet clear what happened, but police say two vehicles were involved and that one of the cars caught fire. At least one person became entrapped, and extrication was necessary.

While police haven’t released any official news regarding injuries, they say that air ambulances were called to the scene.

Officials reported major delays in the area while crews worked at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
