1 hospitalized in 6-vehicle crash involving semi in North Richland Hills

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – Emergency crews responded to a major multi-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler on the interstate in North Richland Hills Friday, reports NRH Fire.

The crash happened sometime before 10:21 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-820 at Rufe Snow Drive, which is just south of The Shoppes at Crown Point and north of North Richland Middle School.

Police haven’t shared any details about what happened except to say that five vehicles and a semi-truck were involved and that one person sustained non-critical injuries.

Officials closed the eastbound lanes of I-820 in the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
