Wrong-way crash on I-30 EB near Lockheed kills 1, injures 3
FORT WORTH, TX – One person died, and three others were hurt in a wrong-way crash along the interstate in the Western Hills North area of Fort Worth Thursday.
According to WFAA 8, the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-30 near Lockheed Boulevard, which is just west of Sea Quest Fort Worth and north of North Z Boaz Park.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Police haven’t yet released the victim’s identity to the public, nor have they disclosed how severely the other three people were injured in the crash.
Officials closed the eastbound lanes of the interstate for hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
