Motorcyclist killed in crash with car at International Pkwy and Indian Hills in Flower Mound
FLOWER MOUND, TX – A 21-year-old motorcyclist died on Wednesday night in a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in Flower Mound, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of International Parkway, or Long Prairie Road, and Indian Hills Avenue, which is just north of the Grapevine Recreational Area.
Police say that a sedan and a motorcycle collided in the intersection. Officials pronounced the northbound motorcyclist deceased at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The driver of the sedan did not sustain injuries in the crash.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of the car may have been responsible for causing the accident.
The investigation continues.
