At least 1 hurt in 3-vehicle crash involving semi on DNT in Addison
ADDISON, TX – At least one person went to the hospital Wednesday after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi on the tollway in north-central Dallas County, reports WFAA News 8.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. on the northbound side of the Dallas North Tollway near Belt Line Road, which is near Whole Foods in the north Dallas suburb of Addison.
Police have not yet shared any details about the accident except to say that it involved an 18-wheeler and two other vehicles. It’s not yet clear how badly the victim in the crash was injured or if there may have been additional injuries.
Officials closed the northbound side of the Dallas North Tollway for over two hours while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene. All roads re-opened by around 7:30 a.m.
