Police investigate fatal hit-and-run at I-30WB and St. Francis Ave
DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian died early Monday morning when a vehicle struck them along the interstate near White Rock Hills in Dallas, reports culturemap Dallas.
The incident happened at 4 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 at St. Francis Avenue, which is between North Jim Miller Road and Buckner Road.
Police say the driver involved in the accident left the scene of the crash. They’ve not yet released any identifying information regarding the victim, nor have they provided a description of a suspect vehicle.
Officials closed the westbound side of the freeway at St. Francis Avenue while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene. Drivers experienced significant delays during this time.
