Joshua teen killed in motorcycle crash on I-30EB in Royse City

ROYSE CITY, TX – A teen motorcyclist died Saturday evening after a solo crash along the interstate in southwest Hunt County, reports WFAA News 8.

The incident happened just before 6 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-30 at the exit for FM 2642. This is on the eastern side of Royse City.

The investigation thus far indicates that a 17-year-old motorcyclist was riding in a pack of bikers when he struck a barrier along I-30. The collision threw him from his bike, and he died after transport to a local hospital.

Authorities identified the victim as Charles Brumit of Joshua.

No other injuries have been reported so far.

The investigation is ongoing.
