Police investigate two-vehicle crash on Loop 323 in SW Tyler

TYLER, TX – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision along a highway in southwest Tyler on Friday morning, reports KLTV 7.

The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. in the area of 2000 SSW Loop 323 near the Sam’s Club and the West Campus of Tyler Junior College.

The cause and nature of the accident are not yet known, nor is it clear if anyone involved in the collision sustained injuries. Police say that the accident involved a Kia Soul and a Chevy pickup truck. Photos taken at the scene depict a red pickup truck with major back-end damage.

Drivers experienced substantial delays along Loop 323 during clean-up efforts and a preliminary investigation.
