Woman killed in Chapel Creek pedestrian crash on I-30 WB
FORT WORTH, TX – A woman died Monday morning after a vehicle struck her along the interstate in western Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened sometime before 8 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 near Chapel Creek Boulevard, which is just north of Leonard Golf Links and west of All Saints’ Episcopal School.
Police say they found the victim and declared her deceased at the scene. She’s not yet been identified publicly.
It’s unclear if the driver involved in the accident remained at the scene or called to alert authorities.
Officials closed the westbound lanes of the interstate while police compiled evidence and crews worked to clear the scene.
