Fatality reported in pedestrian crash at I-30WB near Brentwood Stair

FORT WORTH, TX – Police have confirmed that a pedestrian died Friday morning after a vehicle struck them along the interstate in east Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 7:09 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 near Brentwood Stair Road, which is in the Eastern Hills area.

Authorities haven’t shared many details regarding the circumstances of the accident, but they say one person died at the scene. The victim has not yet been identified.

It’s not yet clear if the driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and answer questions.

Officials closed the westbound lanes of I-30 while crews attended to the victim and worked to clear the scene.
