Vehicle strikes, kills pedestrian on I-35E NB near Royal Ln

DALLAS, TX – An investigation is underway after a fatal auto-pedestrian accident along the interstate in northwest Dallas on Sunday.

According to Fox 4 KDFW, the incident happened just before 3 a.m. near the Asian Trade District on I-35E northbound. Crews responded to the scene between Royal Lane and Walnut Hill Lane.

Authorities haven’t yet shared the name of the victim, nor have they specified whether the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene to render aid.

Motorists likely experienced delays along the interstate while crews gathered evidence and worked to clean-up the scene.
