Police respond to an auto-pedestrian crash on Hwy 183 in Irving

IRVING, TX – Crews responded to a major pedestrian accident along the highway in Irving on Saturday evening, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened on the eastbound side of Highway 183 near the President George Bush Turnpike, which is just southeast of the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Police have shared only that vehicle struck a pedestrian; there’s no word yet on injuries or fatalities.

Officials closed the eastbound side of the highway following the accident while crews worked to clear the scene.
