Motorcyclist killed in crash with pickup on Clifford St in White Settlement

WHITE SETTLEMENT, TX – A two-vehicle crash along a busy roadway in White Settlement killed a motorcyclist on Friday afternoon, reports CBS News.

The incident occurred just after 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of Clifford Street and Waynell Street, which is just east of Saddle Hills Park.

Police say that an eastbound motorcycle collided with a northbound pickup truck when the latter vehicle slowed to turn westward on Clifford Street.

The force of the crash threw the motorcyclist from his bike, and he died at the scene of the accident.

Authorities have not yet named the victim, but they say he is a man in his 40s.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
