Emergency teams respond to tanker fire on TX-360 NB at I-30

ARLINGTON, TX – Crews responded to a major incident involving a semi tanker that caught fire along the highway in Arlington Thursday afternoon, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident occurred sometime before 12:17 p.m. on the northbound side of TX-360 at I-30, which is just northeast of Six Flags over Texas.

Police say that something caused the brakes of the 18-wheeler to ignite. It’s unclear at this time if the fire was caused by a crash or if any other vehicles were involved. Additionally, there’s no word yet regarding injuries.

Officials closed all northbound lanes of TX-360 while crews worked to extinguish the fire and clear the wreckage.

A full investigation is underway.
