Emergency teams respond to tanker fire on TX-360 NB at I-30
ARLINGTON, TX – Crews responded to a major incident involving a semi tanker that caught fire along the highway in Arlington Thursday afternoon, reports DFW Scanner.
Vehicle Fire (Arlington) Engine 5, Engine 11 are on scene of an 18-wheeler tanker fire on northbound Highway 360 at I30. Engine 11 reports the brakes are on fire under the tank. All northbound lanes are currently closed. Avoid this area.

The incident occurred sometime before 12:17 p.m. on the northbound side of TX-360 at I-30, which is just northeast of Six Flags over Texas.
Police say that something caused the brakes of the 18-wheeler to ignite. It’s unclear at this time if the fire was caused by a crash or if any other vehicles were involved. Additionally, there’s no word yet regarding injuries.
Officials closed all northbound lanes of TX-360 while crews worked to extinguish the fire and clear the wreckage.
A full investigation is underway.
