Fatality reported in semi crash on FM 546 in central Collin Co.

COLLIN CO., TX – At least one person died Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck in Collin County, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened in the area of 2300 FM 546, which is southeast of McKinney near Lowry Crossing.

Details are limited at this time, but police say the collision involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle. Authorities have not yet identified the deceased, nor have they released information regarding additional injuries.

Officials closed FM 546 in the area of the crash while police, medics, and clean-up crews responded. They asked that drivers avoid the area until further notice.
