Accident involving construction crane closes DNT ramp to PGBT

PLANO, TX – Officials closed a ramp from the North Dallas Tollway last Thursday afternoon in Plano in an accident involving a construction crane, reports MSN.

The incident happened just after 2 p.m. on the southbound side of the Dallas North Tollway ramp to eastbound PGBT. This is just northwest of Katie Jackson Park.

It’s not clear how it happened, but police say the construction crane fell off of the truck that was hauling it.

At this time, no injuries have been reported in connection to the accident, which appears to have involved only the truck and the crane.

The ramp closure caused significant delays while crews worked to right the crane and clear the roadway.

A full investigation is underway. Should any reports of injuries arise, our team of bloggers will post updates.
