Accident on I-820 E NB at W Hurst Blvd closes interstate

HURST, TX – Police and medics responded to a major accident late Wednesday morning along the interstate in east-central Tarrant County, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident occurred sometime before 11:07 a.m. on the northbound side of I-820 East at Highway 10 in Hurst. This is approximately 15 minutes northeast of Fort Worth.

It appears that an ambulance may have reported to the scene, though there’s no news yet regarding injuries or the number of vehicles involved.

Officials closed the interstate while crews worked to clear the wreckage. Photos taken at the scene show drivers exiting Loop 820 just before the crash site.
