Muti-vehicle crash on 8th Ave near Ryan Place kills 2 motorcyclists

FORT WORTH, TX – Two people died Wednesday night in Fort Worth after a three-vehicle collision involving a car and two motorcycles, reports WFAA News 8.

The incident happened at 11 p.m. on 8th Avenue near West Cantey Street, which is in the Ryan Place area.

Police say that a motorcycle caused the accident when for unknown reasons, the operator lost control of the bike, causing another motorcyclist to also lose control.

It’s unclear how the third vehicle was involved in the accident, which ultimately killed both motorcyclists. Authorities have not yet named the victims publicly.

Motorists likely experienced delays along 8th Avenue in the area of the collision while crews gathered evidence, prepped the victims, and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
