Ejection accident on I-20 EB near Wheatland Rd in Dallas kills 1

DALLAS, TX – One person died Sunday in a possible ejection accident along the interstate near the Woodland Hills area of Dallas, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened at 2:34 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-20 near Wheatland Road, which is just northeast of Methodist Charlton Medical Center.

Police aren’t sure what happened, but they say they found an overturned pickup truck at the scene.

One person died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

Drivers experienced lane closures along I-20 eastbound while crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
