Sweeper truck vs. motorcycle crash at High Five Interchange kills 1
DALLAS, TX – A motorcyclist died Monday night in a two-vehicle collision at the High-Five Interchange in north-central Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on the exit ramp from the southbound side of the North Central Expressway to I-635.
Police say that the southbound motorcycle struck a sweeper truck when the biker attempted to change lanes.
Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene of the accident. They’ve not yet released the name of the victim.
It’s unclear if the driver of the sweeper truck sustained injuries.
Officials closed the exit ramp for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
