1 injured in semi-truck rollover at University and Mayhill in Denton
DENTON, TX – Emergency teams responded to a major accident involving an 18-wheeler in northeast Denton on Wednesday morning, reports DFW Scanner.
Rollover w/ Entrapment (Denton) Engine 4, Medic 4, Rescue 1, Battalion 1, Medic 1, Chief 5, and Denton PD are working a serious crash involving a truck rollover with entrapment on University Drive at Mayhill Road. PHI Med 10 helicopter has been launched to the scene.

Update – PHI helicopter has been canceled. Denton EMS transporting the patient by ground to a nearby hospital.

The incident happened sometime before 7:39 a.m. at the intersection of University Drive and Mayhill Road, which is in the Copper Creek area.
Police haven’t released details regarding the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved. They say the truck overturned, entrapping at least one person.
Medics transported at least one person to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
