Three-vehicle crash at US-271 and TX-155 in Tyler injures 4

TYLER, TX – Four people sustained injuries last Saturday in a three-vehicle collision along the highway in the northeast outskirts of Tyler, reports KLTV 7.

The incident happened around 4:20 p.m. near UT Health North Campus Tyler at the intersection of US-271 and TX-155.

Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, which they say involved a black SUV, a motorcycle, and a silver Subaru. The SUV and the Subaru were both damaged in the accident.

Medics transported four people total from the three vehicles to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Officials closed all but one lane of US-271 in the area of the crash while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
