Garland PD investigate fatal ejection crash on Rowlett Rd past Roan Rd

GARLAND, TX – Garland police are investigating a major solo crash that killed two people and injured a third person on Sunday morning, reports Fox 4 KDFW.

The incident happened around 6 a.m. on the eastbound side of Rowlett Road, east of Roan Road, and on the bridge over Lake Ray Hubbard.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a red pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail on Rowlett Road.

The force of the collision threw two of three occupants from the pickup truck. Authorities declared them deceased at the scene. The victims’ identities have not yet been disclosed to the public.

Medics transported one person to the hospital in critical condition.
