Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run at S Great Trinity Forest and N Murdeaux

DALLAS, TX – A man died late Saturday night after two vehicles struck him at a busy intersection in the Elam area of Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.

The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of South Great Trinity Forest Way and North Murdeaux Lane, which is just northwest of WA Blair Elementary School.

Police say the pedestrian was first struck by an SUV that was turning from South Great Trinity Forest Way onto North Murdeaux. A second vehicle then hit him while turning from North Murdeaux onto South Great Trinity Forest Way.

The pedestrian died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public.

Police are looking for both drivers, neither of whom remained at the scene to offer help or to speak with officials.

The investigation is ongoing.
