Dallas Police investigate fatal pedestrian hit-and-run on Storey Ln

DALLAS, TX – One person died early Saturday after a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway in northwest Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the northbound side of Storey Lane, just south of both the Stemmons Freeway and of West Northwest Highway.

Police say the driver involved in the accident did not stop to render aid and speak with authorities. The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

Dallas Police later located and arrested 31-year-old Juan Morgan Munoz in connection to the accident. Munoz faces charges that include DWI.
