Air ambulance dispatched to 3-vehicle crash at Hwy 75 near Loy Lake

DENISON, TX – Several people were hospitalized Monday night from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash along the highway in Denison, reports KXII 12.

The collision happened around 9:45 p.m. on the northbound side of Highway 75 near Loy Lake Road, which is just east of Loy Park and north of TX-503.

Police have referred to the incident as a chain-reaction crash involving an 18-wheeler and two passenger vehicles. The series of crashes occurred when one of the vehicles struck another, causing the driver of the second vehicle to lose control. The second vehicle rotated in the roadway, at which point it was struck by the semi.

Medics transported three adults to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Two children went to the hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
