Woman killed in pedestrian crash involving 2 vehicles on Forest Ln

DALLAS, TX – A woman died early Wednesday morning after two vehicles struck her along a major roadway in northeast Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.

The crash occurred around 4:20 a.m. on Forest Lane near Forest Star Drive, which is just northeast of I-635 and south of Dallas College – Richland Campus.

Police say the victim attempted to cross Forest Lane illegally when a westbound vehicle hit her. After the initial crash, a second vehicle also struck her.

Authorities pronounced the female pedestrian deceased at the scene. They’ve not yet disclosed her identity.

There’s no word yet about whether the drivers involved in the crash stopped to render aid and speak with police.

A full investigation is underway.
