Emergency teams respond to crash involving officer in Lake Worth

LAKE WORTH, TX – A major crash involving a police officer on the east side of Lake Worth caused significant delays Thursday, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 2:35 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Worth Boulevard and Paul Meador Road, which is near Lake Worth Center.

Officials asked drivers to avoid the area, but they did not clarify the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved, nor did they specify if anyone sustained injuries.

The accident drew a response from Lake Worth Fire Department, Medstart EMS, and Lake Worth Police Department.
