Fort Worth police officer hurt in 2-vehicle crash at Berry and I-35W

FORT WORTH, TX – Two people, including a police officer, went to the hospital Thursday after a two-vehicle crash in central Fort Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

The accident happened sometime around noon at the intersection of Berry Street and I-35W. This is just northwest of Echo Lake.

Officials haven’t yet commented on the cause of the wreck. They say that the Fort Worth police officer was driving with their lights and sirens activated when the two vehicles collided.

Medics transported the police officer and the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
