Dallas PD investigates fatal pedestrian crash at I-35E and Wycliff

DALLAS, TX – A pedestrian died early Saturday after a vehicle struck them along the interstate in central Dallas, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened on the northbound side of I-35E near Wycliff Avenue, which is just west of Dallas Market Center and north of Trammel-Crow Park. The precise time of the crash is unclear.

Police say the victim was attempting to cross the interstate when the northbound vehicle hit them.

Officials haven’t yet released the name of the deceased, nor have they disclosed the identity of the driver, who they say did stop to render aid and speak with police.

Emergency teams closed the northbound side of the interstate while working to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
