Man killed in motorcycle crash on Flower Mound Rd near Old Settlers Rd

FLOWER MOUND, TX – A 47-year-old man from Celina died Sunday morning in a solo motorcycle crash along a major roadway in south-central Denton County, reports The Cross Timbers Gazette.

The crash happened at 3:21 a.m. on Flower Mound Road near the intersection with Old Settlers Road in the city of Flower Mound. This is about nine miles northwest of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Police say the man crashed his motorcycle along a portion of Flower Mound Road that has been under construction.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as Mac Schardein.
